Petromal, the group's Oil and Gas arm, is NH's most recently established strategic business unit focusing on Oil, Gas and Natural Resources with the following objective:
- Acquiring development and producing assets in the near term, supplemented by investment in exploration as the business unit grows
- Developing and increasing reserves in acquired assets and by leveraging to optimize equity return
- Ensuring a fast and smooth entry to this highly competitive market, NH and the UK's Premier Oil have formed two JV companies, Premco Energy Projects and Premco BV with a medium term objective of building a business with a production capacity of 30,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of, 100 million barrels of oil equivalent in reserves and to achieve a valuation of around US$ 1000 million
- Establishing a new regional downstream, Oil Refinery and Petrochemical, player in the same region via strategic partnership with experienced companies, with the objective of maximizing added value generated from refining and processing oil & gas.
