Petromal, the Oil and Gas Industry arm of National Holding, is an integrated Oil & Gas company focused on the Upstream and Downstream sectors while developing services to the industry through direct investment or through strategic public or private partnerships.

Petromal has recently taken an interest in and is exploring renewable energy projects in the UAE and Africa.

Petromal operates as three distinct business units:

Exploration and Production: Petromal holds interests in producing concessions in West Africa and pursuing other operating interests in West Africa and Central Asia.

Oilfield Services: Petromal is an independent service provider in UAE and MENA region. Initial focus is on fluid engineering services and rig drilling services.

EPC & Contracting: Petromal, through a subsidiary, pursues projects includes Oil & Gas field development, Industrial, Civil and Marine Projects.

Petromal Established an equal-share JV with NOR Energy – PETRONOR EP. This JV gave Petromal access to the West Africa region leveraging the in-depth knowledge and reach of NOR Energy and the common political neutrality of both Petromal and NOR Energy.

The JV achieved immediate success with the first concession award in Congo jointly operated with Perenco.

PETRONOR EP has completed a listing on the Oslo stock exchange through the reverse takeover of African Petroleum Limited. The newly listed PETRONOR EP is now pursuing other Oilfield concessions in Congo and Nigeria, with a focus on producing fields and high potential LNG projects.

Petromal has successfully registered and prequalified for oilfield services within the ADNOC group. Petromal leverages the high ICV (In Country Value) to bid for ADNOC competitive tenders and plans to expand service offerings in the UAE and beyond.

Eyas Alhomouz

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Eyas Alhomouz is the CEO of Petromal, the oil and gas arm of National Holding in Abu Dhabi. Eyas joined Petromal after a long career in the oil and gas sector covering the US, North Africa, and the GCC.

Eyas began his career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services as a wireline engineer in Midland, Texas. From there he went on to work for Cromwell Energy in Denver, Colorado in the role of international business development manager. Then, as a COO and Financial Director of Prism Seismic, he oversaw the growth of the Colorado based consulting and oil and gas software development firm and later the acquisition of the company by Sigma Cubed where he went on to serve as a Director of Business Development, Middle East.

Eyas’ career then took him to the Middle East as General Manager of Jaidah Energy, a company servicing the oil and gas sector. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a degree in Chemical Engineering and from the Colorado School of Mines, in Golden, CO with a master’s degree in Mineral and Energy Economics.
